----------
I provide counselling and psychotherapy from an integrative standpoint, incorporating all three of the major psychotherapeutic approaches; Humanist, Psychodynamic/Attachment and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In addition, I am trained in and use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based CBT and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I specialise in supporting people affected by cancer, whether you are navigating a diagnosis yourself or caring for someone who is. I also have particular expertise in working with long-term health conditions, including Diabetes and Gastroenterology related issues such as Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis.
My approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in evidence based practice, supporting you to make sense of your experiences and move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
I value honesty, humanity and humour in the therapeutic process and my practice focuses on providing you with a safe, welcoming and supportive space where you can speak freely and at your own pace.
I offer a free initial, no obligation 15 minute session either online or in person which gives us the opportunity to meet, discuss how therapy may be able to help and to see whether we would feel comfortable working together.
