Conscious connected breathwork employs active, rhythmic breathing to go beyond the thinking mind and reach the subconscious. It assists in releasing stagnation by embracing it through breath, inhaling new possibilities and exhaling limitations.
Additional tools used to aid the breath:
Coaching: Designed to embrace clarity during breath. It emphasizes solutions and progress. Although it may briefly address past issues to identify obstacles, its main focus remains on the present and future. Coaching is not talk therapy; it’s action-oriented and goal-focused, aimed at establishing an effective support system for breathwork.
Movement: Body movement to aid in relaxing the nervous system and releasing stagnation in the body.
Vocal sounds: to aid with soothing the nervous system
Words of affirmation: to replace negative inner beliefs and self-talk with positive reinforcement.
Meridian points: Applying hand pressure on localised tense muscles to help support the breath.
Music: to help with overthinking, focusing the mind on the body and breath.
The session duration ranges from 90 to 120 minutes, depending on the clients’ needs. Each breath session includes coaching support and a follow-up check-in.
Breath is life and a reflection of our personal journey. I profoundly respect this simple yet powerful instrument that represents our existence; it is sacred because we, as souls inhabiting a human body, are sacred. This belief guides me as a facilitator, focusing on supporting the core of our being beyond the stories we inherit from society and beyond our inner monologue. Beyond the limitations we think we are, I know we are more than our labels can ever frame us.
As a facilitator and practitioner, I feel privileged to share this tool. I conduct both online and in-person sessions, through workshops and one-on-one meetings, engaging with people of all genders, including teenagers and their parents.
